Pete Bonee
Pete Bonee is a Partner at Innosight Ventures, based in Singapore.
Pete joined Innosight in 2008, after spending over two decades as an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley. Initially an engineer by training, Pete has had experience managing and leading startup companies through all stages of development.
One of his roles at Innosight is to assist our venture companies by leveraging his background in technology and venture development. He is currently co-leading a joint venture in RFID technology and he is actively involved in several of our companies as an advisor to management. Before Innosight, Pete served as CEO of Sylantro Systems Corp., a company he founded in 1998 to enable the delivery of enhanced telephony services over broadband networks. Prior to Sylantro, Pete was Vice President of Product Operations at Latitude Communications (acquired by Cisco). As a member of the early startup team at Latitude, he led the development of Latitude's MeetingPlace conferencing products. Before Latitude, Pete was Vice President of Engineering at VMX Incorporated (acquired by Lucent), a worldwide leader in voice messaging products. Early in his career, Pete worked at ROLM Corporation in engineering and management roles.
Pete's educational background includes an MSEE degree from Stanford University and an SBEE degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Pete also attended the AEA Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Pete serves on the boards of a number of privately held technology firms, and is a director at Sage Partners, a firm that provides strategic advisory services to management teams.
