Vijay Raju

Vijay is a Venture Associate at Innosight Ventures, and is based in India.

Vijay helps shape disruptive business ventures from conception to launch by providing market intelligence through rapid prototyping, in-market testing and monitoring trends.Vijay is currently co-leading the grooming and the imaging social micro-enterprises that aim to help low income entrepreneurs to increase their income and improve their social status.

Prior to joining Innosight Ventures, Vijay worked in the Computer Graphics and Animation industry in India and US. His last role was as Technical Director of Crest Animation Studios in Mumbai, where he designed innovative process pipelines for several animation projects and was responsible for the oversight of technical and creative work. He was also the Project Leader of Pet Alien, a 3D animated TV series, aired on Cartoon Network worldwide.

Vijay has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and holds an MBA from the International University of Japan with a Monbukagakhusho scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Japan. He represented India in the “Ship for World Youth - 1998”, an onboard educational fellowship sponsored by the Government of Japan.
