Asha Banker
Asha Banker is a Venture Director at Innosight Ventures, and is based in Chennai, India.
Asha joined Innosight in early 2008 after spending a year as the strategic advisor to the CEO of Fabindia, a role in which she managed special projects out of the office of the CEO.
After completing her undgraduate studies in Chicago, Asha joined Goldman Sachs in London. After two years in London and then two additional years in New York, Asha moved to Boston to complete her MBA at Harvard.
After finishing business school, Asha has held a variety of consulting roles in both the US and India, with a focus on the Apparel and Fashion Industry. She has also spent time working with non-profit companies in India working to provide employment to women in the apparel industry.
Asha also has also worked in the software industry and spent two years as a product manager with Red Hat Applications where she managed business and marketing strategy.
Asha has a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Harvard University.
