Innovation Workshops
Innosight Ventures can partner with you to run a variety of
different types of Innovation Workshops depending on your requirements.
With some groups we create an intimate interactive working session in
which we discuss the principles of Disruptive
Innovation and Jobs-to-be-Done. We will
work with your team to apply the principles and develop a starting
point for innovative new products or services over a period of 2-3 days.
In other circumstances, we can teach the principles of Disruptive Innovation in a large
lecture theatre to several hundred people, in order to lay a foundation
for broad innovation efforts across a department or an entire firm or
as part of efforts to help develop a Culture
of Innovation.
The principles of Disruptive
Innovation offer a very practical set of guidelines for managing
and implementing innovation, and so we prefer to work with project
managers and/or mid- to senior managers responsible for innovation and
new growth in the company.
Depending on the type of workshop, participants can be divided into
several teams and led through a series of exercises involving:
- Brainstorming using the principles of Disruptive Innovation and Jobs-To-Be-Done to identify opportunities
- Defining and developing foothold customers
- Creating and Shaping disruptive solutions to address the jobs that these foothold customers are seeking to get done
- Prioritizing product concepts using the princles of Disruptive Innovation to identify the highest potential solutions
- Formulating a winning business model
